Following our engagement with the Board of Town Centre Securities Plc, commencing in February this year, we are pleased with the announcement by the company, released on 08 November 2023, detailing a tender offer for the purchase of up to 7,500,000 shares, representing approximately 15.5% of the issued share capital of the company.
In the particular context of our open letters with the Chairman and Chief Executive of the company, Dr Edward Ziff OBE DL, dated 17 & 28 February 2023 (which are available to view on this website) we believe this tender offer is very much a step in the right direction for shareholders, in realising value from the company. However, other of our stated concerns do remain and our engagement with the company continues.
